About the Ulysses Club Inc - Lockyer Branch
The Lockyer Branch was formed in May 1996.
The name of the branch was chosen as just a name and not in reference to a location as per requirements of the Ulysses Club Consitution in 1996.
The Lockyer Branch attracts members from the Greater Ipswich and Lockyer Valley Area.
The Lockyer Branch hosts 'The Annual Ipswich Toy Run' on the second Sunday in December each year. The Toy Run traverses a 20 km route through some of the western suburbs of Ipswich leaving from the Brassall Shopping Centre and finsihing at the Ipswich Showgrounds.
The Annual Ipswich Toy run raises donations and funds for the Salvation Army Christmas Appeal (to be distributed throughout the Ipswich Region) and for the Ulysses Club Arthritis Research Fund (UCARF).

About Ulysses Club Inc.:
Ulysses Club Inc. is a social riding club and it was established in 1983. It caters to Australian motorcyclists over the age of 40. The Ulysses Club is one of the largest clubs of it's kind in the southern hemisphere with over 10,000 members in Australia and overseas.
Who can join?
If you are over 40 and have a motorcycle license, you are eligible for membership.

Information for new members - rockers and back patches
A Ulysses Club patch can be displayed on the back of a riding jacket or vest as long as there are no other badges, patches or name badge/rocker on the back of the jacket or vest. If there is no Ulysses patch, you can put any badge you like on your jacket or vest.
It’s important to note that an agreement has been reached with the outlaw clubs that allows the wearing of just our club logo on the back of riding jackets/vests. If individual members choose to add any other badges or name tags to their jacket/vest they are considered to be in breech of the ruling and their membership will be terminated.
